Pair of vintage,old architectural carved stone?cast stone Asian Busts

Description

Unsure what or where these were used but the screw on back says they were attached to something at one time. Last photo I took shows either a couple of scratches or asian symbols?? They are about 4 x 3 x 2.5 deep
